BLOG 6: Traveling to the future

Hello!😄

Well, today I'm going to write about my choice about time and destiny if I could travel to the future.... I had never thought about it in depth, and the truth is that I don't have much imagination, but this is what I have come up with.

To travel to the future, I think I would have to enter in a frozen machine (like in Futurama) and stay there, waiting for time to pass. First I would stop in 2040 and I would go to my living place. I don't really have a plan life so I have no any idea if I will be living in Chile or maybe on Mars, but I would go anywhere just to see how my life is going and what kind of person I will have become. Maybe I would spy on my family and friends but I would not intervene in their lives because I trust that the future Dani will be wiser than the one of 2021.  Also, in 2040 I would like to take a walk around the city trying out new technological devices and having fun with them.

After that short visit I would get inside the machine again and I would go to the year 3000, 2500 or whatever the year when the human race begins to become extinct. I know it sound weird, but I think that it's very interesting to know about the natural disasters that will wipe us out and if I had the opportunity to live that experience, I would take it, even if I died there.

If I survive the natural events I don't think I would get back to 2021 because I don't want to stay at home anymore haha, but maybe being able to go back to 2025 would be fine with me.

  1. I think that your idea of travel to the future to know how the human race begin to extinct is not weird, It's very interesting that you are curious for that. However, it surprises me that If you can do it, you wouldn't back to your present. It scares me the idea of stay in the future, because I'm wouldn't be comfortable, maybe I would feel that I'm not in the reality or whatever.

  4. It is interesting because sometimes an apocalyptic future seems to be more comfortable than the presente. To be honest same.
